A 29-year-old transient was arrested in the 1800 block of East Long Street in Carson City early Friday morning. William Percy Gary faces a warrant charge of felony burglary, issued Oct. 21, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $20,000.
In other arrests: A 39-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Friday, Nov. 1 in the area of North Stewart and Dan streets. He faces a misdemeanor charge of being in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was stopped for riding a bicycle without lights south bound on Roop Street. The man allowed officers to search for weapons. Officers located a metal pipe with marijuana in the man's right front pant pocket. Bail: $1,137.
— A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, Oct. 31, 9:46 p.m. in the 700 block of Silver Oak. He faces misdemeanor charges of being in violation of a suspended sentence and being an ex-felon failing to register, according to the arrest report.
Officers were called to the residence regarding possible drug use. Dispatch told officers that the male at the residence had a confirmed warrant for his arrest. The man attempted to climb out of a window before being arrested, according to the report. Bail: $3,242.
— A 20-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Thursday, Oct. 31, 4:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Russell Way. She faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to the location regarding a dispute. Interviews with those involved revealed that it started out as a verbal dispute and that the female began to punch and slap the victim in the head and face, the arrest report states.
Officers observed a man was bleeding from the mouth and that his lower lip was swollen and bleeding, the arrest report states.
The woman told officers she called the sheriff's office because the man pushed her and that she was trying to leave the house. When officers went to go back to speak with the man, however, the woman attempted to leave and was told to stop several times but did not comply, according to the arrest report.
She said that an abrasion on her right hand was because the man pushed her against the wall. She also said she had multiple bruises on her body from where the man hit her. She said she did not want to complete a statement and did not want photos taken of her, according to the arrest report. Bail: $3,137.
— A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, Oct. 31, 9:20 p.m. in the 600 block of Norrie Drive. He faces a misdemeanor charges of threats. The man allegedly told his neighbor in a dispute that he had killed a man before and would kill him that night. The alleged threat was witnessed by others, according to the arrest report. Bail: $637.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
