Two people were found late Thursday morning after they had became stranded off Brunswick Canyon Road in east Carson City late Wednesday night when their vehicle slid off the road, according to Sgt. Mike Cullen of the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
They were found at around 11:30 a.m., with one person, a 40-year-old man, arrested on a felony warrant.
The man and an 18-year-old woman had been stranded as Carson City Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue teams attempted to locate their vehicle in Brunswick Canyon along the Carson River.
The pair's vehicle had three flat tires, Sgt. Cullen said, causing the vehicle to slide off the road.
The woman was able to use her mobile phone to contact her husband, who then contacted the Carson City Sheriff's Office, Sgt. Cullen said.
