A traffic stop near Airport Road in Carson City resulted in the arrest of two women, one of whom allegedly was in possession of a pharmaceutical drug without a prescription.
According to the arrest report, a vehicle was stopped on Sunday and an unidentified driver was arrested for DUI.
During the investigation, a deputy asked the arresting officer to have the vehicle towed. While conducting a vehicle inventory, a deputy found an orange pill bottle with the suspect's name on the top, according to the arrest report. The suspect was a passenger in the vehicle.

The deputy said he could see there were different pills in the bottle by looking in the see-through bottom portion of the bottle. The suspect, 22, of Carson City, was detained until officers could identify the pills.

The suspect asked deputies why she was being detained. The arresting officer told her it was because a pill bottle with her name on it was found and inside of the bottle looked to be a pill, Percoset, which was not what the prescription called for.

The suspect told the deputy "I have a hurt ankle though." The deputy told the suspect that it was against the law to carry prescription drugs without a prescription. The deputy then checked the drug status of the pill on his cell phone and entered the pill code, which did not belong on the bottle, according to the arrest report.
"The markings on the pill were 'Watson 933'...a round white pill. The return I received was a picture of the exact same type of pill that was in the bottle. It was Oxcodone Acetaminophen 7.5 mg/325 mg. This is a prescription-only narcotic." The other pills in the bottle were Tramadol which is what the bottle said they were."

A continued inventory of the vehicle also found an open container of Grey Goose vodka under the passenger seat.

The woman was placed into custody and transported to the Carson City Jail. She faces a felony charge of carrying prescription drugs without prescription and open container. Her bail was set at $2,687. The other passenger was arrested on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant from Lyon County. Her bail was set at $1,319.
