A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment and misdemeanor DUI after he was stopped Friday by Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies.
The man was taken into custody at 8:50 p.m. He was the driver of a vehicle occupied by another adult and one juvenile. The man showed signs of impairment during several standardized field sobriety tests. At jail he provided evidentiary breath samples of .189 and .190. He also had a court violation order warrant. Bail: $4,637.
In other arrests:
— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 1:36 a.m. in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol and obstructing. A 20-year-old was also arrested for minor consuming. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the location for a party involving gang members. The 19-year-old challenged a deputy to a fight when cuffs were placed on him. He submitted to a preliminary breath test of .200. The 20-year-old submitted to a breath test of .85. Bail for the 19-year-old: $724. Bail for the 20-year-old: $287.
— A 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 7:46 p.m. in the area of Roop and Corbett streets on misdemeanor suspicion of disorderly conduct and being an intoxicated pedestrian.
According to the arrest report, officers were dispatched to the area after reports of a man walking in the street and yelling at children. A deputy observed the man waving and yelling at vehicles as they drove by. He was taken into custody. Bail: $314.
— A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 10:48 p.m. in the area of Valley and Telegraph streets on two misdemeanor contempt of court warrants. Bail: $4,055.
— A 25-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail Friday, 7:20 p.m. on two misdemeanor contempt of court war rats issued in September and December 2015. Bail: $793.
— A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 9:20 p.m. in the 1600 block of Airport Road on suspicion of disorderly conduct. $242.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 11:24 p.m. in the area of William and Saliman streets on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, failure to maintain a lane of traffic, running a red light and open container.
According to arrest report, a deputy observed the driver going northbound on Saliman with the passenger side tires to the right of the solid line, then going through a red light and then traveling eastbound on William, continuing to cross the solid lane line.
A traffic stop was made and the deputy observed an open container of alcohol on the side floorboard.
Deputies spoke with the driver who showed signs of intoxication. He blew a preliminary breath test of .212 and was arrested. At jail he did not consent to evidentiary testing and a telephonic search warrant was granted by a judge for a blood draw. Bail: $1,503.
— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 7:46 p.m. in the 1100 block of Woodside Drive on a misdemeanor violation of suspended sentence warrant. Bail: $1,000.
— A 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 5:52 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
— A 19-year-old Gardnerville woman was booked into jail Friday, 7:20 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence issued May 17, 2016 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 50-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday, 3:20 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $1,000.
