Tri-NET arrests two on felony meth trafficking charges following lengthy investigation

Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force, a state partnership with Carson City, Douglas County and other agencies, arrested two men recently on felony drug charges.

Michael Bowman, 45, and Mario Jesus Quevedo, 29, were booked on Thursday, April 14 on various felony charges after a two-month investigation.

Bowman was arrested on suspicion of Level I Trafficking a Controlled Substance – meth, Conspiracy to Violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act, Sales of a Controlled Substance - meth and Possession of a Controlled Substance - meth, all felonies.

Quevedo was currently in the Carson City jail for an unrelated child abuse case for providing methamphetamine to an underage female. He was administratively booked on suspicion of Level I Trafficking a Controlled Substance – meth, Conspiracy to Violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act and Possession of a Controlled Substance - meth, all felonies.

The Tri-NET Narcotic Task Force is operated by the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Investigation Division and is in partnership with the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Nevada National Guard, Counterdrug Task Force. Tri-NET is funded in part by a Justice Assistance Grant and the DPS Office of Criminal Justice Assistance.
