A Carson City man with a lengthy list of drug-related offenses faces multiple felony charges after authorities found 11 grams of methamphetamine and a .22-caliber revolver during a search.
Ronald Lee Mitchell, 44, is being held in Carson City Jail. Bail has been set at $108,632.
Deputies assigned to the Special Enforcement Team met with an Alternative Sentencing officer to conduct a probation check of Mitchell in the 3000 block of Imperial Way in Carson City on Wednesday.

Mitchell, who is on the state's parole and probation supervision list in connection with controlled substances, was at the home and met with the Alternative Sentencing probationer. After Alternative Sentencing finished the probation check, Mitchell agreed to meet with a deputy in the front yard.
The deputy asked Mitchell for permission to search him, and his vehicle, a white Dodge truck, for drugs. Mitchell told the officer that he could search him, refused to consent to a search of his vehicle, according to the arrest report.
Mitchell stated he had items in his truck that didn't belong to him noting his "girlfriend" had left a briefcase and a suitcase in his truck.
Mitchell appeared to be nervous and would not look at the officer as they spoke. He was asked to sit on the curb during the investigation, the report stated.
The arrest report indicates an on-duty Nevada Parole and Probation officer arrived at 5:40 p.m. Mitchell again stated his girlfriend had left a briefcase and suitcase in his truck. His own laptop, however, was in the suitcase, the report stated. A Parole and Probation officer gave deputies permission to search the truck and a K9 drug dog alerted authorities to an area under the driver's seat and the briefcase, the report stated.
Inside the briefcase was a laptop computer and a bank bag that contained a zip lock baggie that held approximately 11 grams of methamphetamine, the report stated. Also in the bank bag were numerous unused plastic baggies, an electronic scale used to weigh drugs which had a white residue on it and a methamphetamine pipe. The empty baggies and scale indicated possession of a controlled substance for sale. A spoon with burnt residue was found in the bank bag with a bag of hypodermic needles, the report stated.
Deputies saw several .22 caliber bullets on the bed of the truck. A subsequent search revealed a purple Crown Royal bag inside the briefcase and inside the bag was a loaded .22 caliber revolver.
Mitchell was taken into custody and transported to the Carson City jail. The Parole and Probation Officer requested a hold placed on Mitchell for probation violation. A check of Mitchell's criminal history showed a felony conviction in 2009 in Carson City for possession of a controlled substance. Mitchell also showed a felony conviction in California in 1995 for possession of a controlled substance, and a felony conviction in 1995 for manufacture of a controlled substance.
Mitchell faces charges including felony trafficking a controlled substance, third offense; possession of controlled substance for sale; ex-felon in possession of a firearm; possession of a fire with possession of a controlled substance; third offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and probation and parole violation.
