


Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested Josephina Rodriguez, 43, a Carson City woman, at just after 9 p.m. Tuesday at the 3800 block of South Carson Street. Rodriguez was arrested for felony burglary. She is alleged to have stolen ten items from the Carson City Kohls, where she was assigned to clean over a period of several months. She claimed were clothes for her grandson. Bail is set at $2,500.
Just after midnight Tuesday, officers arrested Joseph Nelson Neal, 19, a transient man, for allegations of misdemeanor defrauding an innkeeper, misdemeanor trespassing, and felony home invader. Neal allegedly refused to pay his cab fare. Bail is set at $25,350.
At approximately 8:12 p.m. Tuesday evening, near Carson High School,an officer arrested Kelly Vaughn Manning, 22, a Carson City resident. Manning was arrested on misdemeanor allegations of petit larceny and jaywalking, and a felony allegation of posession of a controlled substance. The officer witnessed Manning darting across William Street from Jacksons on Rand Avenue, where there is no crosswalk. Upon making contact with Manning, the officer discovered that he had a petit larceny warrant for his arrest. A search of his person led the officer to discover what he believed to be methamphetamines. Bail is set at $3,067.
