Crime Log: Carson City officers busy over the weekend with numerous felony arrests

Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested the following individuals for felony or gross misdemeanor allegations over the weekend:

  • David William Koapke, 32, a Minot, S.D. man, for possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamines). Koapke was also arrested for the misdemeanor allegation of petit larceny. Bail is set at $2,750 plus administrative fees.
  • Donald Heartford Pluff, 18, a Carson City man, for a Parole and Probation violation. Pluff was also arrested for the misdemeanor allegation of minor consumption. No bail has been set.
  • Jackie Contreras, 31, a Carson City man, for eluding with endangerment. Contreras was also arrested for misdemeanor allegations of reckless driving, no valid driver's license, and obstructing an officer. Bail is set at $20,900 plus administrative fees.
  • Jose Gonzalo Ortega, 24, a Sparks man, for grand larceny of a motor vehicle. Ortega was also arrested for misdemeanor allegations of destruction of property, no valid driver's license, and first-offense DUI. Bail has been set at $26,600 plus administrative fees.
  • Jose Antonio Adrian, 39, a Carson City man, for probation violation. Adrian was also arrested for misdemeanor allegations of possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to yield to a stop sign. No bail has been set.
  • Andrew Jacob McComb, 18, a Carson City man, for possession of stolen property. McComb was also arrested for the misdemeanor allegation of an altered Vehicle Identification Number. Bail has been set at $15,500 plus administrative fees.
  • Bryan Denny Sommers, 18, a Carson City man, for gross misdemeanor allegations of possession of a dangerous weapon. Sommers was also arrested for the misdemeanor allegations of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Bail has been set at $4,100 plus administrative fees.
  • Jose Avila Monrroy, 20, a Dayton man, for the gross misdemeanor allegation of possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. Monrroy was also arrested for the misdemeanor allegations of minor consumption, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, not possessing a driver's license, and no proof of insurance. Bail has been set at $4,475 plus administrative fees.

Officers also arrested the following individuals for misdemeanor allegations:

  • A 22-year-old Minot, S.D. woman for petit larceny.
  • A 21-year-old Sparks man for first-offense DUI.
  • A 19-year-old Carson City man for destruction of property, graffiti, obstructing and delaying an officer, and violation of the conditions of a suspended sentence.
  • A 27-year-old Carson City man for no headlights, no drivers' license, and second-offense DUI.
  • A 39-year-old Carson City woman for a violation of pretrial conditions warrant in her name.
  • A 22-year-old Dayton man for following too closely, no insurance, and first-offense DUI.
  • A 22-year-old Carson City man for a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
  • A 23-year-old Carson City man for violation of pretrial conditions and obstructing an officer.
  • A 27-year-old Carson City man for obstructing an officer and probation violation.
  • A 20-year-old Carson City man for a failure to appear warrant in his name.
  • A 42-year-old Carson City man for violation of a protection order and destruction of property.
  • A 38-year-old Gardnerville man for a contempt of court warrant in his name.
  • A 35-year-old Carson City man for contempt of court.
  • A 23-year-old Carson city man for disorderly conduct.
  • A 22-year-old transient man for disorderly conduct.
  • A 26-year-old Carson City man for violation of a temporary protection order.
  • A 19-year-old Carson City man for minor consumption and probation violation.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
