A 29-year-old Carson City man with a history of drug-related arrests, faces a felony trafficking charge after officers found a large bag of meth and drug paraphernalia inside a Cadillac in which he was a passenger.
Kameron Keith Mariolo is being held on $25,756 bail. According to the arrest report, officers assigned to the Special Enforcement Team stopped the Cadillac at around 2:47 p.m. Saturday after it was observed Mariolo was an occupant and it was known he had confirmed warrants for his arrest out of Carson City and Sparks.
The driver of the Cadillac, who goes by the name of "Rascal" was believed to be driving on a suspended driver's license, the arrest report states.
Mariolo was taken into custody and the vehicle was searched because others in the vehicle, including the driver, were on Alternative Sentencing, the arrest report states. Inside the Cadillac on the floor partially under the seat where Mariolo was sitting officers found a large plastic baggie containing meth, the arrest report states. Also found on the floor in Mariolo's seat was a black container with syringes, a drug spoon, cotton balls and a small amount of marijuana. He told officers the black container was his but not the meth, the arrest report states.
A phone was also found that had two messages on it in which officers suspect were about drugs that were to be delivered to a Menlo Drive address, the arrest report states.
Mariolo faces the felony drug trafficking charge and four misdemeanor charges, including arrest warrants, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
