A Carson City man was arrested Monday for suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, burglary, uttering a forged instrument, using false identification and misdemeanor contempt of court, a CCSO detective said.
Corey Brugman, 36, was taken into custody at a North Stewart Street bank following an investigation. According to the arrest report, the man allegedly attempted to use the identification of an identity theft victim at a money lending store in the 2000 block of East William Street. Total bail listed: $58,000.

According to the arrest report, a deputy attempted to detain the man following a pat search after the man informed the deputy he had a knife on his person.
As a deputy attempted to do a safety search for other weapons, and having asked the man if he had anything that would poke him during the search, the deputy found a hypodermic needle wrapped in a bandana around Pinckard’s leg.
When the deputy attempted to cuff Pinckard, he took off running, jumping over several fences. He was located in the apartment complex by another deputy and was arrested.
A deputy located the needle, loaded with a clear substance, on the ground near where the foot chase began. He faces the following charges: Suspicion of felony possession of a concealed weapon and possession of a controlled substance. He faces the following misdemeanor charges: Possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting a public officer, destroy/concealing evidence and jaywalking. Bail listed: $9,121.
— A 24-year-old man, Jeremiah Anthony Reyes, was booked Monday, 2:45 p.m. into Carson City for a felony warrant alleging attempted sale of a controlled substance. The warrant was issued March 20, 2018 out of East Fork Township Court. Bail: $10,000.
— A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 5:04 p.m. in the 3600 block of Emerson Drive for a misdemeanor warrant alleging violation of a suspended sentence. The warrant was issued Jan. 29, 2018 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
