Crime Log: Man attempts to defraud Carson City bank

Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested the following individuals for felony or gross misdemeanor allegations:

  • Steven Lewis Lisch, 32, a Santa Rosa, Calif. man, for a failure to appear warrant in his name and obtaining money under false pretenses. Lisch was also arrested for misdemeanor allegations of domestic battery. Lisch allegedly manipulated his girlfriend through threats of violence into attempting to cash a large fraudulent check at a US Bank in Carson City. Bail is set at $85,500 plus administrative fees.
  • Mercedes Deshawn Ratcliff, 27, a Reno woman, for false identification. Ratcliff was also arrested for misdemeanor allegations of expired registration, a basic speed violation, and driving under a suspended license. Bail is set at $8,095 plus administrative fees.
  • David James Fish, 30, a Carson City man, for attempted automotive burglary and a misdemeanor allegation of violating his probation. Bail has been set at $28,000.
  • Maurqesha Sharie McCallister, 27, a Sun Valley woman, for false identification. Bail has been set at $7,500.
  • Alisha Dawn Bench, 26, a Santa Rosa, Calif. woman, for obtaining money under false pretenses. Bail has been set at $2,500.
  • Byron Glenn Reber, 59, a Carson City man, for burglary. Bail has been set at $25,000.
  • Ronda Lynn Broughton, 47, a Carson City woman, for possession of prescription drugs without a valid prescription, as well as the misdemeanor allegations of DUI first offense (drugs), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Bail has been set at $2,500.
  • Steven William McIntosh, 29, a Carson City man, for possession of a controlled substance. McIntosh was also arrested for misdemeanor allegations of disobedience to a traffic control. Bail has been set at $2,587 plus administrative fees.

Officers also arrested the following individuals for misdemeanor allegations or warrants:

  • A 75-year-old transient woman for trespassing.
  • A 28-year-old Carson City woman for DUI first offense, drivers license not in possession, no insurance on a vehicle, and failure to maintain a lane.
  • A 32-year-old Carson City man for disorderly conduct, violation of a suspended sentence, and obstructing an officer.
  • A 60-year-old Carson City man for hit and run unoccupied, failure to maintain a lane, DUI (drugs) and failure to give information.
  • A 36-year-old Carson City man for violation of a suspended sentence.
  • A 32-year-old Gardnerville man for a failure to appear warrant in his name.
  • A 28-year-old Carson City man for contempt of court.
  • A 33-year-old Carson City woman for violation of a temporary restraining order and violation of a suspended sentence.
  • A 27-year-old Mound House man for a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
  • A 32-year-old Carson City man for domestic battery.
  • A 58-year-old Carson City woman for DUI first offense and not having proof of insurance.
  • A 42-year-old Carson City woman for DUI first offense and reckless driving.
  • A 51-year-old Carson City man for two failure to appear traffic warrants in his name, suspended registration, possession of one ounce or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no proof of insurance.
  • A 23-year-old Minden woman for a failure to appear warrant in her name.
  • A 31-year-old Dayton man for violation of a suspended sentence.
  • A 23-year-old Carson City woman for a failure to appear traffic warrant in her name.
  • A 29-year-old Carson City woman for possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, and the following misdemeanor warrants in her name: contempt of court (three warrants) and violation of a suspended sentence (one warrant).
  • A 29-year-old Carson City man for DUI second offense, two allegations of battery, driving on a suspended drivers' license, and probation violation.
  • A 33-year-old Carson City woman for two contempt of court warrants in her name, and one violation of a suspended sentence warrant.
  • A 52-year-old Carso City man for two failure to appear traffic warrants in his name.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
