Carson City man jailed, allegedly bites finger of his mother's boyfriend

An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. and faces a misdemeanor charge of battery. The man allegedly was in a verbal argument with his mother's boyfriend in which the 18-year-old pushed the man and then bit him on the right ring finger causing injury, according to a report filed by a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy.
The incident happened in the 1900 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail: $1,137.

— A 25-year-old Reno man was arrested at 11:38 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Carson Street and Hot Springs Road in Carson City.

He was pulled over by a Carson City sheriff's patrol officer for failure to maintain lanes. He was arrested on suspicion on a failure to comply warrant out of Reno Township Court, and two counts failure to pay charges, both issued out of Dayton Township Court. Bail: $1,878.

— A 49-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Nov. 20, 8:27 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Carson Street. She faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in traffic court. Bail: $187. She was a passenger in a vehicle in which a 49-year-old Carson City man, Drake Vancleave, was arrested for on suspicion of felony grand larceny warrant issued out of Lyon County.

Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
