A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday in the 300 block of C Street. Kevin Lea Nunez is being held without bail on suspicion of probation violation.
According to the arrest report, an anonymous caller spoke with dispatch reporting that Nunez had just been released from prison and had been drinking. The caller wished to remain anonymous and wanted to also report Nunez was not to be drinking as part of his conditions.
Deputies arrived at the residence and at the front door could see Nunez sitting at the couch with a Steel Reserve beer in front of him. He came up to the front door stumbling and opened the door, where officers could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from him as he spoke, the arrest report states.
Deputies advised Nunez to sit on the couch where they could talk. Nunez told the officers: "You might as well just take me now, I've been drinking," the arrest report states. He submitted to a preliminary breath test where he blew a .175. State Parole and Probation was notified and they placed a no bail hold on him.

An 18-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested on a felony warrant charge. Danielle Marie Jordan was arrested in the 300 block of East David Street on Wednesday at 10:25 a.m. Officers were advised the woman had a confirmed felony warrant out of Douglas County District Court with a no bail hold. She was taken into custody and transported to jail.
— A 23-year-old Gardnerville man was booked into Carson City Jail on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 11:55 p.m. He faces a misdemeanor charge of violation of probation conditions. Bail: $3,000.
— A 19-year-old transient was booked into Carson City Jail on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2:50 p.m. He faces misdemeanor warrant charges out of Carson City Justice Court of harassment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail: $10,000.
— A 44-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on a misdemeanor failure to appear in court charge on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 3:47 p.m. in the 1600 block of Brown Street.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
