Carson City Sheriff's deputies have arrested Joshua Cook, 26, a Carson City resident, at 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Cook was arrested for felony allegations of battery with substantial bodily harm after an alleged bar fight Friday night/Saturday morning, as well as misdemeanor allegations of obstructing justice. The victim was taken to Renown medical center in Reno after he was discovered by officers on a rooftop with major swelling on his face and eyes and bleeding from several places. Bail is set at $15,000.
Officers also arrested the following individuals on misdemeanor allegations:
- A 33-year-old Carson City man for two violation of a suspended sentence warrants in his name.
- A 42-year-old Carson City man for a probation violation warrant in his name.
- A 25-year-old Carson City man for failure to maintain a single lane, no proof of insurance, and first-offense DUI.
- A 40-year-old Carson City man for a contempt of court warrant in his name.
- A 54-year-old transient man for failure to register as an ex-felon.
- A 24-year-old Carson City man for a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
- A 40-year-old Reno man for possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to register as an ex-felon.
- A 36-year-old Sun Valley woman for an unspecified warrant in her name.
- A 22-year-old Carson City man for violation of bail conditions, violation of a suspended sentence, and obstructing an officer.
- A 25-year-old Carson City man for a violation of a suspended sentence warrant in his name and threatening or harassing.
- A 31-year-old Carson City man for a basic speed violation, driving on a suspended drivers' license, and second-offense DUI.
- A 24-year-old Dayton man for battery, affray, and disorderly conduct.
- A 23-year-old California man for obstructing an officer, violation of a suspended sentence, and contempt of court.
- A 55-year-old transient man for contempt of court.
- A 36-year-old Gardnerville woman for failure to maintain a lane and first-offense DUI.
- A 21-year-old Carson City man for first-offense DUI.
- A 22-year-old Carson City man for obstructing a peace officer and intoxicated pedestrian.
- A 20-year-old Carson City woman for petit larceny.
- A 22-year-old Fernley man for disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer, and intoxicated pedestrian.
- A 50-year-old Vacaville man for a failure to appear warrant in his name.
- An 18-year-old Carson City man for possession of drug paraphernalia and a violation of alternative sentencing.
- A 24-year-old man of unknown origin for obstructing an officer.
- A 23-year-old Gardnerville man for first-offense DUI.
- A 20-year-old Ohio man for petit larceny.
- A 36-year-old Lake Tahoe man for failure to yield to a traffic device, no valid driver's license, and first-offense DUI.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
