A Carson City man was arrested early Saturday morning after he allegedly had a juvenile female in his vehicle hide 22 grams of methamphetamine in her bra.
According to the arrest report, deputies were in the Carson River Road area checking out a report of a possible homicide. A woman reported that she and her friend were hitchhiking, and ended up at an abandoned house in the area with two male subjects. The woman said she ran away after hearing a gunshot, fearing that her friend had been killed.
While on the scene, a deputy noticed a car driving by slowly with female matching the description of the woman's friend. Another deputy made a traffic stop of the car, which was being driven by Jose Perez Guzman, 37. With Guzman was a juvenile female. The deputy found the female had a glass pipe used the smoke meth on her person, still hot from being used.
The female passenger appeared to be under the influence of meth. The deputy asked the female when she had last smoked meth, and she reportedly said "I have some in my bra, do you want it?" She then pulled out two baggies that contained a substance that tested positive for meth, weighing 22.2 grams. She also reportedly told deputies "that's not my dope, he (Guzman) told me to hide it in my bra" because the cops are not allowed to search a female.
Guzman was arrested for felony drug trafficking, felony furnishing drugs to a minor, gross misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor. While confirming Guzman's identity, they found Immigration and Customs Enforcement wanted him detained, and he was held without bail.
The juvenile was transported to Carson Tahoe Hospital for medical clearance, then taken to juvenile detention.
