Carson City sheriff's deputies arrested Michael Jerrod Jacobsen, a 25-year-old transient, at around 12:30 this morning at the 300 block of Hot Springs Road. Jacobsen was arrested for misdemeanor obstructing, misdemeanor drug paraphernalia, a felony parole violation, and a previously existing felony warrant.
Officers made contact with Jacobsen as he was walking down the street near the Camp N Town RV park because he matched the description of a suspect who had run from a deputy near SlotWorld. Jacobsen also attempted to run when questioned, but stopped running and told officers that he gave up.
No bail was set for the parole violation.
