More charges could soon be filed against a Carson City man believed to be involved in a burglary ring that spans over multiple Northern Nevada counties.
Bryan Allen Gaudette, 24, faces five additional felony counts of burglary and is being held in the Carson City Jail on $25,000 bond.
He is currently in custody for other items already recovered in the same case, authorities report.
According to the arrest report, the victim identified two iPods, a Ryobi tool, a screw driver kit and a memory chip that was in his digital camera when it was stolen.
The camera was not recovered but he identified the memory chip as his, and he identified the photos that had been printed from the chip as being family photos from a vacation, the report stated.
According to the arrest report, on July 14, Carson City Judge John Tatro issued a warrant to Carson City detectives to search for numerous stolen items at home on in the 2400 block of Dori Way. The room belonged to Gaudette and his girlfriend, who told authorities that items seized belonged to Gaudette.
The man is currently in custody for other items already recovered in the same case. The investigation covers Washoe, Douglas and Carson City counties, as well as Reno and Sparks.
Because of the magnitude of the case, the Carson City Sheriff's Office continues to locate more victims in the crime spree, said Detective Daniel Gonzales. Additional charges will be forthcoming, he added.
