Carson City man faces charges of sexual assault on a child

A Carson City man was arrested on felony warrant charges of sexual assault of a child under the age of 14.
Ronald Scott Leiken, 49, who lives in the 3700 block of Meadow Wood Drive, was arrested by Carson City Sheriff's officers Tuesday at his residence. He is free after posting $100,000 bail.
According to the sheriff's arrest report, officers were dispatched to the Meadow Wood Road area to arrest Leiken who had the active felony warrant issued for his arrest on Tuesday, Nov. 13 in Carson City Justice Court. Officers arrived at the residence, knocked on the door and looked around outside the home and later determined no one was inside. As they gathered at their vehicles they observed Leiken drive up the driveway to the home. Officers followed in their cars up the driveway and arrested him at around 9 p.m. He was booked on the warrant charges and later bailed out.

According to the warrant issued in Carson City Justice Court, Leiken faces two felony counts of sexual assault against a child under the age of 14 and a third felony count of lewdness with a child under the age of 14.
