Frankie Lee Lemos, 40, of Mill Creek, Washington, was arrested Monday morning by a Carson City deputy in Douglas County after he allegedly bit off part of his brother's finger during an argument in a bar.

According to the arrest report, deputies were called to a bar on East Long Street where they met the suspect's brother, minus one part of his left pinky finger. The victim told deputies that his brother had left the bar in a cab after the incident.

Another deputy later located the cab in Douglas County at U.S. 395 and Jacks Valley Road, where the suspect was seen running into a field. The deputy chased the suspect, ordering him to stop. The suspect allegedly turned to the officer and said "No," and something to the affect of "You are going to have to take me down."

Believing that the suspect might have been armed, the deputy drew his gun and ordered the suspect to the ground. While on the ground, the suspect struggled with the deputy, and it took the threat of a Taser to get handcuffs on him.

Lemos was arrested for felony battery causing substantial bodily harm, gross misdemeanor assault on a peace officer, misdemeanor obstructing a peace officer and misdemeanor resisting arrest. His bail was set at $19,039.
