Carson City resident Randall Milton Clark, 54, who was convicted of felony DUI in 2003, was arrested Tuesday afternoon for allegedly driving under the influence on a suspended driver's license.
According to the arrest report, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy spotted Clark's white Nissan turn off of Washington Street without using a turn signal, and saw the driver's side door fly open while making the turn.
Before the deputy could pull the car over, Clark allegedly stopped in front of a residence, and told the officer he was going inside to visit his dentist. Not seeing any signs that the house was a dentist's office, the deputy questioned Clark further, and he admitted he did not have a valid driver's license.
The deputy said he could smell alcohol on Clark, and gave him a preliminary breath test that showed a blood alcohol level of .140. Clark was later given two more breath tests at the jail, showing blood alcohol levels of .128 and .134.
Clark was arrested for felony DUI, misdemeanor driving on suspended license and misdemeanor failure to use a turn signal. His bail was set at $11,199.
