Two men were arrested and face felony charges of assault following attacks on two people at a Carson City bar on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses told sheriff's deputies that one of the men hit another man in the head using a beer bottle at around 2 a.m. at a downtown Carson City bar. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics for injuries to the head.
According to the report the two suspects left the bar in a blue 2004 Dodge pickup, which was located at another bar on East William Street. Officers made contact with the men outside the bar. The victim was brought to the scene and identified them as the men who assaulted him.
As the arrests happened at the East Williams street bar, deputies learned of another victim of assaults at the first bar. The victim reported one of the arrested men had punched him, and knocked a tooth out.
The first suspect, a 24 year-old driller from Winnemucca, faces a felony battery with a deadly weapon charge. His bail was set at $30,000. The second man, 32, who resides in Carson City, faces a felony charge of battery with substantial bodily harm. His bail was set at $15,000.
