Crime report for May 19

The following people were arrested by Carson City Sheriff's deputies May 19:

—Sarah Elizabeth Crockett, 21, of Carson City, was arrested in the 3800 block of South Carson Street for felony grand larceny and gross misdemeanor possession of drugs without a prescription. The suspect had been detained by store security after allegedly emerging from a dressing room without the items she entered with. She was also allegedly found to be in possession of a bottle of pills including morphine for which she did not have a prescription. Bail was set at $5,000.

—Frederick Paul Panke, 26, no address given, was arrested in the 300 block of Carson Meadows Street for felony parole violation, felony resisting an officer, and misdemeanor obstructing. The suspect allegedly ran away from officers investigating a domestic dispute. After one deputy gained control of the suspect, he allegedly tried to remove the deputy's weapon from its holster. He was held without bail.

—Juanita Goetz, 31, of Dayton, was arrested near the intersection of Highway 50 East and State Street for felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. According to the arrest report, the deputy stopped the suspect for speeding, and one of the passengers in the car, Jordan Burkhart, 21, of Carson City, was found to be on probation. A drug-sniffing dog found meth in a purse, which Goetz allegedly admitted belonged to her. Burkhart was arrested for a probation violation, and when he was searched at the jail, deputies allegedly found meth in his sock. Goetz was also allegedly found to have hidden a meth pipe in her bra. Bail for Goetz was set at $3,632. Burkhart was held without bail for felony probation violation and felony possession of methamphetamine.
