A 52-year-old Carson City man was booked at Carson City Jail on felony suspicion of forgery and receiving counterfeit cash, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
According to the arrest report, a jail worker contacted deputies regarding an envelope containing two confirmed counterfeit $10 bills.
The money belonged to the suspect, Lamar Frederick Little, who was brought into the jail Aug. 8. A deputy interviewed the man who signed a right’s waiver. He told the officer he had little information about the bills and that he had had them for a couple of days and was unaware they were counterfeit. Bail: $10,000.

A 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 7:24 p.m. in the 3200 block of Highway 50 East on a contempt of court warrant, failure to stop at a stop sign and two counts possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to the arrest report, deputies observed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign on Gordonia Drive. The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned the driver had a warrant for his arrest.
He was asked to step out of the vehicle. As he was stepping out, the officer observed a hypodermic needle on the driver’s floor board. The man’s wife and 5-year-old child were in the vehicle. The man’s wife gave the officer permission to search the vehicle. Also found was a metal spoon with suspected burnt heroin residue and a marijuana pipe. Bail: $3,386.
— A 30-year-old Idaho man was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail on misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court and domestic battery. Bail: $12,500.
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. in a misdemeanor warrant, violation of a suspended sentence, issued Nov. 23, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
