A Reno man who had a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest on an assault charge was found at a Carson City casino with methamphetamine in his possession, authorities said.
Micah Daniel Smith, 32, was arrested in the 900 block of South Carson Street at around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
After Smith was confirmed to have an arrest warrant out of Eastfork Township, he advised officers that he had methamphetamine in his shorts. The meth weighed approximately 2.6 grams, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $3,500.

— A 20-year-old transient was arrested Tuesday on a felony grand larceny warrant.
Benjamin Berg was arrested at 6:39 p.m. in the 1400 block of North Carson Street. As he was being served the warrant, he attempted to escape through a window but was apprehended by a reserve deputy positioned outside the bedroom, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $10,000.
As authorities arrested Berg on the warrant, they also arrested another man on drug charges.
Che Daniel Brower, 19, was jailed on suspicion of possessing suspected heroin found burnt in crudely constructed smoking devices, according to the arrest report.
Brower claimed the residue was methadone and that he was trying to kick heroin, according to the arrest report. Officers also confiscated a marijuana bong. He is being held on $3,632 bail.
