A 27-year-old woman was arrested Thursday at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office administration building for suspicion of obstructing an officer, failure to appear in traffic court, driving on a suspended license and driving with suspended registration.
According to the arrest report, a deputy responded at 12:50 p.m. to the front counter in reference to an arrest warrant. Earlier that morning, a deputy was looking for the Dayton woman in reference to a threats call.
Dispatch advised the woman had a failure to appear court warrant and stated the woman’s license and vehicle registration had been suspended. The deputy spoke with the woman on the phone, who hung up on him and drove to the sheriff’s office to make contact with the watch commander, the arrest report states.
The deputy made contact with the woman and advised she had a traffic warrant and that she was under arrest. The woman began screaming at the officer. The deputy advised multiple times to stop resisting so he could apply handcuffs to her. She was subsequently arrested and was walked to the Carson City Jail facility. Bail: $1,376.

— A 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday, 8:16 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Roop Street for a misdemeanor outside agency warrant. Bail: $545.
