A 31-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning following a fight involving two others at an apartment, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Alvin Eugene Roberson IV was arrested at 12:10 a.m. in the area of David and Fall streets. He faces a felony charge of allegedly interfering with a victim reporting a crime, gross misdemeanor destruction of property and misdemeanor domestic battery.
A 45-year-old man, also involved in the fight, was arrested for misdemeanor obstructing and resisting an officer.
According to the arrest report, Roberson allegedly broke things in and apartment during a fight. As one of the residents attempted to call 911, Roberson allegedly grabbed the cell phone and threw it to the ground. He also allegedly caused damage to cars in the area, including putting a vacuum cleaner through the window and punching out a car windshield.
Bail for Roberson: $10,637. Bail for the 45-year-old facing the misdemeanor charge of obstructing: $412.

— A Menlo Park, Calif., man was arrested Sunday, 10:07 p.m. in the 100 block of East Long Street for suspicion of misdemeanor DUI, driving without a valid license, open container and driving an unregistered vehicle.
According to the arrest report, a deputy ran a registration check on a Dodge pickup traveling west on Long Street. The vehicle came back with its license plates surrendered.
The officer followed the vehicle west on Long Street and observed it failed to maintain a lane of travel, nearly striking a parked car on the north side of the roadway.
The deputed performed a traffic stop and spoke with the driver. He was asked if he had been drinking. The man replied he had been drinking tequila. The man showed signs of impairment on standardized field sobriety tests. He blew a .303 preliminary breath test and was arrested. Bail: $1,793.
— A 48-year-old male transient was arrested Sunday, 11:11 p.m. in the area of East William and Rand streets for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued June 12, 2018 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $740.
— A 42-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday, 8:50 p.m. in the 2600 block of Lewis Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of DUI and misdemeanor failure to obey a traffic control device.
According to arrest report, a reporting party informed dispatch of a possible DUI driver they had followed from Curry Street to Fairview Drive. A deputy located the suspected vehicle and observed that it had stopped in the middle of an intersection.
A deputy activated his lights and made a traffic stop, which was a driveway on Lewis Drive. The officer asked the woman what she was doing.
The woman stated she needed to get off the road, saying “I thought I shouldn’t drive anymore,” the arrest report states. She was asked if the Lewis Drive address was her home.
The woman replied she lives in Washoe Valley, the arrest report states. She was asked if she had been drinking. She told the deputy she had three beers at home, 2 shots of vodka at home, and a large beer at the theater, the arrest report states.
She agreed to field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. She provided a preliminary breath test of .240. Inside the patrol vehicle the officer read the woman a request of voluntary evidence.
The woman began to yell at the officer, and said she wanted a lawyer. The officer requested a warrant from a judge to obtain a blood sample. The warrant was granted. Bail: $1,224.
— An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 7:37 p.m. in the 3300 block of Imperial Way for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was called to a Camille Drive residence in reference to domestic battery. The victim’s son allegedly pushed her during an argument causing a red scratch along with a cut on her left arm. The two got into an argument over the sale of a compound bow.
The suspect was located in the area of Imperial Way and was stopped. He was read his Miranda warning and agreed to speak. The man told a deputy he and his mother were in an argument over the bow and said he never pushed or harmed his mother. Due to the injuries the woman sustained, the 18-year-old son as arrested for suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
— A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 2:31 p.m. in the 500 block of North Carson Street for misdemeanor trespassing and obstructing.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to a casino regarding a recently suspended employee who refused to leave the property.
A deputy made contact with the man near the north entrance doors. The suspect was told casino management wanted him to leave the casino. The man told the deputy he did not want to leave.
The officer explained that if he did not leave, he would be considered trespassing. The man argued with the officer about the definition of trespassing. The officer explained the elements of trespassing, and the man interrupted him and began to rant about things that made no sense, the arrest report states.
Casino management agreed to sign a citizens arrest form to have the man trespassed. The man was told to put his hands behind his back. The man refused, the arrest report states.
The deputy attempted to arrest the man, who pulled away and wouldn’t allow the officer to cuff him. The man was told if he didn’t comply he would be tasered, the man told the deputy he wasn’t going to taser him. The officer activated his taser. The man was arrested and taken to jail. Bail: $654.
