A 29-year-old Carson City man faces a felony charge of false identification after he allegedly used his brother's identification when bail was posted.
Daryl Jacinto Reyes, with a listed occupation as a tattoo artist, reportedly gave authorities his brother's name, date of birth and Social Security number because he had a warrant in the state of Oregon for not checking in with his parole and probation officer after he moved to Nevada, according to the arrest report.
The bail was posted by Reyes sister-in-law, who had intended the bail money, $489, to be used for her husband.
Reyes is in the Carson City Jail facing a felony charge of obtaining false identification of another to avoid prosecution, a felony, and a misdemeanor charge of obstruction. Bail is set at $25,000.
