Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested Miguel Angel Sous-Andalon, 23, after he allegedly broke into an apartment in the 700 block of Hot Springs Road early Sunday morning and refused to leave.
According to the arrest report, Sous-Andalon was in a "highly intoxicated state" when he broke into the apartment, laid down on the resident's sofa and refused to leave.
He also admitted to deputies that he is in the country illegally. He was arrested for felony burglary and misdemeanor trespassing, and has been placed on immigration hold.

In another apparent case of drunken mishap, an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Saturday morning for allegedly trying to punch a deputy.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was called to the 400 block of West Winnie Lane for a report of a fight in progress. The deputy observed the suspect following a group of females to an apartment and yelling obscenities at them, and then began pounding on the door with his fist.
The deputy approached the suspect and identified himself, at which time the suspect allegedly told the deputy "F*** you, dog." When the deputy asked the suspect to sit down, he allegedly replied "F*** you, B****, make me."
At that point, the deputy said the suspect came at him, yelling "You're f***ed, homie," and attempted to hit him with his fist. The deputy responded by jabbing the suspect in the stomach with his baton. That blow apparently ended the confrontation. The suspect was taken to Carson Tahoe Hospital for a medical check, and was cleared and transported to the Carson City Jail. A preliminary breath test showed the suspect had a blood alcohol level of .343.
The suspect was arrested for gross misdemeanor assault on a peace officer, and misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol. His bail was set at $2,704.
