A 26-year-old man was arrested Saturday for felony suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Cody Wilson was taken into custody at 10:49 a.m. in the 1500 block of Truckee Drive. According to the arrest report, the man reportedly held a knife to the throat of the victim. The suspect said he had experienced a seizure and does not recall what happened.
The victim provided a deputy with a blue folding pocket knife, which was booked into evidence. The deputy observed a red laceration to the victim’s throat that was not bleeding. The victim did not require medical attention. Bail: $30,000.

— A 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested early Sunday for suspicion of felony home invasion, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Savannah Lee Henderson, was arrested at 1:39 a.m. in the 4200 block of James Drive. According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area for a report of a burglary in progress. The reporting party stated two subjects were attempting to break down his front door.
The suspects were gone prior to arrival and an attempt to locate the subjects was put into place with other deputies alerted to the situation, according to the arrest report.
A deputy knocked on the front door to the residence, which was damaged with a large rock. The frame of the door was damaged and there was a portion of a boot print on the door.
The deputy made contact with the victim who stated he was awoken by a phone call from a blocked number. He stated he ignored the call and a few minutes later someone was pounding on his front door.
He stated he opened the door and a female with a hoodie over her head began to yell at him about getting a dresser. The victim stated he attempted to close the door and the female attempted to push the door open.
He stated he was able to force the door to close. He stated the woman began to pound on the door and hit the door while screaming, the arrest report states. The victim said at that point he called police. He told officers the person was possibly his ex-girlfriend with one of her unidentified friends but wasn’t sure because their face was covered up.
While speaking with the victim, deputies located two subjects in a white Nissan traveling north on James approaching the residence. A deputy made contact with the driver, Henderson, and the passenger.
Both parties attempted to say they were driving through the neighborhood and had nothing to do with the incidence. A deputy asked them to state out of the vehicle.
Henderson admitted that she was the female at the door with the hoodie on. She stated she kicked the door out of frustration and that she was attempting to go into the residence to get clothing for her friend, the ex-girlfriend of the victim, according to the arrest report.
Henderson was taken into custody for suspicion of attempted home invasion. Bail: $25,000.
— A 35-year-old Carson City woman, Estelle Ramona Wungnema, was arrested Sunday, 1:45 p.m. for felony suspicion of third offense domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area in reference to a domestic battery. Deputies learned the suspect was highly intoxicated and began yelling and swinging her arms at the victim in an attempt to punch her. The suspect allegedly grabbed the victim by the shirt and pushed her during the argument.
Deputies interviewed the suspect who said she was in an argument but did not hit the victim. Based on witness statements, the suspect was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery.
She provided a preliminary breath test with a result of .385 and transported to the hospital for medical clearance before going to jail. A records check showed the woman has two prior convictions for domestic battery. Bail: $15,000.
— A 54-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 11:28 a.m. in the 500 block of North Stewart Street for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, a deputy was on patrol in the area and was contacted by a subject in a parking lot.
The subject stated a woman was yelling that she had been hit by her boyfriend in one of the rooms. The subject stated they had not seen anything.
A deputy went to the room and met with a male and female. The male stated he and his ex-wife were arguing over where she walked their dog. He stated while they were arguing, the woman stood up from a chair.
He stated he grabbed her by the upper arm with both of his arms because he thought she was going to be aggressive with him. He stated he quickly let her go and she fell to the ground. He denied pushing the woman to the ground, the report states.
Deputies met with the woman who confirmed they were arguing and stated that while they were arguing she stood up from her chair. She stated the suspect then came from across the room and threaten to hit her. She said the man grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground. She stated she didn’t have any marks from the incident.
The man was arrested for suspicion of domestic battery. Bail: $3,137.
— Two from Reno, both age 20, were arrested Saturday, 8:35 p.m. in the area of Carson and Nye streets for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
Jacob Michael Abbott and Elexus I. Wandersee, were taken into custody. Abbott also faces a misdemeanor charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Wandersee also faces a misdemeanor charge of expired registration.
According to the arrest report a deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle that had expired license plates.
The passenger advised that he had marijuana on his person and handed the deputy a clear plastic bag containing marijuana. A drug-sniffing canine responded. Once Abbott was out of the vehicle he stated he had cocaine on his person, the report states.
A deputy located cocaine in the man’s front right pocket. Abbott admitted the substance found in his pocket was cocaine. A deputy searched the vehicle and located a clear capsule with a white powder inside. It tested positive for MMDA. Bail for Abbott: $3,637. Bail for Wandersee: $2,572.
— A 27-year-old Dayton woman was arrested Sunday, 1:39 a.m. in the 4200 block of James Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of open container. Bail: $192.
— A 50-year-old man was arrested Sunday, 2:13 p.m. in the 900 block of East Musser Street for misdemeanor suspicion of driving on a suspended license. Bail: $1,137.
— A 24-year-old Sun Valley, Nev., man was arrested Sunday, 4:50 p.m. for two misdemeanor warrants: violation of a suspended sentence and contempt of court. The warrants were issued March 13 and March 20, 2018. Bail: $3,500.
— A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 10:42 p.m., in the area of Cochise and West Overland streets for misdemeanor suspicion of DUI.
According to the arrest report, deputies responded to the area regarding a vehicle accident. A deputy spoke with the suspect and could smell an odor of alcohol coming from his person.
The man agreed to participate in field sobriety tests and showed signs of impairment. He was arrested. He told a deputy he would freely submit to an evidentiary breath test.
During the testing period he refused to provide a sufficient breath sample for testing. A court order was obtained for evidentiary purposes and a blood draw was conducted. Bail: $1,137.
A 45-year-old Carson City woman, Sally J. Whooley, was arrested Sunday, 6:15 p.m. at Walmart in the 3200 block of Market Street for felony suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor petit larceny, trespassing and violation of a suspended sentence.
According to the arrest report, deputies responded to the area and met with a loss prevention officer who advised he observed the suspect select multiple cleaning supplies and proceed to the front of the store, passed all points of pay and exited without paying.
Carson City Dispatch advised the woman was on Department of Alternative Sentencing and was previously trespassed from Walmart due to theft. She was taken into custody.
While searching the woman’s purse, the arresting deputy located multiple hypodermic needles and a white crystal substance in a black makeup container. She was read her Miranda warning and agreed to speaking. She stated she had used meth that morning and was sorry for stealing the merchandise, the arrest report states. Bail: $4,094.
